The cooperation between IWC and the Lawrence Sports Foundation has a long history. Starting from 2006, IWC will launch limited edition watches every year, and some of the proceeds will be used to help disadvantaged children and young people. The case back of the special watch will be engraved with a picture selected from the award-winning works in the global children’s drawing competition. This year’s picture is a Chinese boy.
Da Vinci chronograph ‘Lawrence Sports Charity Foundation’ Special Edition (model: IW393402) diameter 42 mm, with blue dial. The newly developed removable lugs and the curved corners of the lugs ensure that the black Santoni crocodile leather strap fits perfectly on the wrist. This stainless steel chronograph shows the measured hours and minutes in a small dial, just like the hands of a watch. The chronograph seconds are displayed as usual with the central hand.
This year is the eleventh edition of the Lawrence Sports Charity Fund ‘Special Edition’ watch launched by IWC. The case back is engraved with the work of a 12-year-old Hou Yi from Shanghai. Obstacle, this picture depicts a picture of a cheerful smile when he went to the best personal skiing.
Every year, IWC holds a children’s drawing competition. This year’s theme is ‘Happy Moments’. The best work is selected by the jury and drawn on the back of the watch. This watch is limited to 1500 pieces and has a flyback timing function. It is equipped with the brand’s self-made 89361 automatic movement. It uses a non-trimmer Glucydur® * beryllium alloy balance wheel with fine adjustment screws on the wheel rim. In IWC models, the blue dial is often used for special models. This year, this watch is no exception. It uses a blue dial and a black Santoni alligator strap.
